Universal Studios + The Wizarding World of Harry Potter: Diagon Alley
1: Park Plaza Holiday Shop
In the New York section of Universal Studios you’ll find the adorable Park Plaza Holiday Shop, decorated for Christmas year round.
This little street looks a lot like London (or I guess NYC in the 50s?), and is so, so cute!! Perfect for adding adorable pastel tones to your Instagram.
2: The Knight Bus
Before entering Diagon Alley you will see the iconic purple Knight Bus. Head around to the back of the bus and snap a photo of you on the bus platform.
3: Sugarplum’s Sweet Shop
Located in Diagon Alley, on the back side of Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes, you’ll find Sugarplum’s Sweet Shop. Head here first thing in the morning before the shop is super crowded, and you’ll be able to get a great photo in front of the cute shop entrance.
4: Delicious Wizard Treats in Diagon Alley
The treats at Harry Potter World are so much fun! Throughout Diagon Alley you’ll find sweets, pastries, ice cream and fun drinks.
Stop by the Hopping Pot for Pumpkin Juice, Fizzy Orange Juice or Fishy Green Ale – and then snap a cute photo!
The Butterbeer ice cream from Florean Fortescue’s Ice-Cream Parlour is also Instagram worthy!
Island of Adventure and Wizarding World of Harry Potter: Hogsmeade
5: Butterbeer Cart in Hogsmeade
Hogsmeade is generally very crowded, and although there will likely be a line at the butterbeer cart in the town center, you’ll still be able to get a great shot in front of the butterbeer cart. The line goes around the side of the cart, leaving this butterbeer sign wide open for photos.
6: Hogwarts Castle
Arguably the most iconic photo spot in Harry Potter World, Hogwarts castle! Head to the back side of the castle, on the bridge, and you’ll get great castle views.
The best part is you can easily take photos without getting other park visitors in the background.
7: Seuss Landing Sweet Shop Window
All of Seuss Landing is cute, colorful, and Instagrammable. The pastel tones make for great photo backdrops.
Located on the left hand side of the Snookers & Snookers Sweet Candy Cookers, under the “Birthday Flower Jungle” sign, you’ll find this cute window.
Grab some candy from the store and take a cute shot in the colorful window!
8: Truffula Trees in Seuss Landing
Located across from the Snookers & Snookers Sweet Candy Cookers shop you’ll find the Truffula Tree Forest from the Lorax. These trees are so cute and colorful and make for a fun, whimsical photo.
9: Open Arms Hotel at the Entrance to Islands of Adventure
Right when you enter the Islands of Adventure park from City Walk, you’ll see a cute “hotel” called the Open Arms Hotel. Directly in front of the hotel is an adorable Tuk Tuk Taxi and the whole set-up is a great place for photos.
10: Outside the Croissant Moon Bakery
Right outside the Croissant Moon Bakery you’ll find a fun wall with a beautifully designed door. I love the blue and brown tones, and this is a great place to pose for some photos.

I absolutely love the Universal Studios in Orlando! I would agree that the truffula trees in Seuss Landing were really instagrammable. I have one of these similar photos as well 😀
This would be any Harry Potter fans dream. I would love trying all the treats out at Florean Fortescue’s Ice-Cream Parlour, butterbeer ice cream sounds yum yes please. Fishy green ale sounds not as appealing. Did you try it and how was it?
The butterbeer ice cream was absolutely incredible – one of the highlights of the trip for sure! I didn’t end up trying the fishy green ale because it’s a boba drink (and I’m not a huge fan of boba), but it did look pretty!
I have never been to Universal Studios Orlando, but it looks like a cool place. I love all the photo spots you’ve covered, they’re so cool! I would love a picture with the Hogwarts Castle as background.

I’ve been to Harry Potter World at the Universal in Osaka, but this looks totally different! I’d love to visit one day <3
