The Best Fall Desserts in NYC

Hello everyone, welcome back! One of the best parts of fall is definitely the delicious fall-themed desserts. Living in NYC, there is no shortage of delicious treats, and there’s more and more fall sweets popping up all the time. In this post, I will be sharing the best fall desserts in NYC! These are some of my absolute favorite treats, and I’m so excited to share them with all of you!

Sprinkles Pumpkin Cupcake

I love Sprinkles cupcakes, especially the seasonal flavors. I was so excited to try their pumpkin cupcake, and it was delicious. This is really the perfect fall treat! This cupcake is only available until November 30th, so be sure to get yours ASAP.

Throughout the fall Sprinkles also has weekly limited edition flavors! Be sure to check out their Instagram to see what they’re baking each week – the pumpkin spice latte cupcake was so yummy!

Milk Bar Pumpkin Dulce de Leche Cake

Pumpkin and dulce de leche are two of my favorite flavors, and they come together in this amazing cake from Milk Bar! I love, love Milk Bar desserts, and I am so in love with their fall options. In addition to the pumpkin dulce de leche cake, they also have the same flavors in truffle form. I haven’t tried the truffles yet – but they’re on my list! I’m also crossing my fingers that pumpkin soft serve will be added to the menu!

Magnolia Bakery Pumpkin Gingersnap Banana Pudding

Magnolia Bakery’s banana pudding is delicious – and famous – and their fall edition is also incredible! I checked the Magnolia Bakery Instagram every single day waiting for their fall desserts, and when they came out I sprinted to the closest location. In addition to the pumpkin gingersnap banana pudding, they also have beautiful candy corn inspired funfetti cake!

Lastly, some locations have weekly fall cupcake flavors, like pumpkin spice! Magnolia is definitely a go-to for yummy fall desserts!

Shmackary’s Pick of the Patch Cookie

I love big, delicious cookies, and I’m obsessed with Shamackary’s! Their fall flavors are all incredible, but I’m the most excited about the Pick of the Patch cookie. This cookie is my dream: pumpkin, toffee bits, butterscotch, caramel, and streusel topping! They also have fun Halloween flavors, like Blood Red Velvet and Cookies and Scream. This is one of my go to cookie spots, year round!

Chip Pumpkin Spice Latte + Fall Cookies

Chip cookies are some of my absolute favorites, and the pumpkin spice latte flavor is perfect for fall! The espresso dulce de leche filling is so yummy, and paired with an iced coffee you have the perfect afternoon snack. For October, aka Spooky Season, Chip is also featuring a Frightfetti cookie! Chip rotates their flavors, so be sure to check their daily menu for the pumpkin spice latte cookie, the Frightfetti cookie and their amazing other fall flavors!

Insomnia Fall Cookies

I post about Insomnia cookie all the time on my Instagram stories – I love these cookies! I’ve been waiting for their fall flavors for so long! The first I tried was the limited edition pumpkin cheesecake flavor – and now I’m super excited for whatever flavor is coming next. I definitely recommend getting a dozen!

Doughnut Plant Apple Cinnamon Cake Donut

I am a huge fan of Doughnut Plant cake donuts – and the Apple Cinnamon is amazing! This is the perfect fall dessert, and I highly recommend enjoying it with a cup of tea. I also really love their Pumpkin Cake doughnut and their Carrot Cake doughnut – both of which I think are perfect for fall.
