Hi everyone and welcome to my college room tour! I am so excited to show you all my decor, storage, and art. I currently live in a triple in my sorority house at the University of Michigan. This means I live with two other girls (all in the same room). We have a bathroom in the hallway and also a small kitchenette/pantry to store snacks, coffee, etc. My housing experience so far has been so fun, and an overall great time. My roommates have definitely made the experience so great ++ I’m so thankful for them! Check out @twosistersabroad and @maggieetoll on Instagram to see more of my college adventures. Let’s get started on my room tour!
The first thing you see when you walk in my door is my desk. My desk is where I do my homework, watch videos on my computer, and do my makeup. Because it is a small space, I try to keep it very minimalistic and organized.
My bed is my favorite part of my room. I love my white bedding as it feels so clean and fresh. I also love throw pillows and keep as many on my bed as possible. Purchase the same bedding from Amazon by clicking here.
I recently started a gallery wall with art from places I’ve traveled. Currently, I have art from Puerto Rico, Greece, and Morocco. My Sorority Big made me the cutest macrame which I thought was the perfect addition my wall. Below is some more decor inspo!
The next part of my room is my closet. Luckily, we have three closets in the room so we each get our own space. We hung a full length mirror on the middle closet door for shared use – a necessity. In addition to my hanging clothes, I also keep my cleaning supplies, laundry hamper, and towels in my closet. I have two grey storage bins I keep all of my cleaning supplies, medicine, towels, and sheets in. These bins have been lifesavers when it comes to staying organized. You can buy similar bins from Amazon here.
For additional storage, I also bought these white wicker storage bins from Homegoods. If you’re interested, I found super cute ones on Amazon that look similar.
These storage bins are not only cute, but incredibly useful. I use the large one to store all my sweatshirts, crewnecks, and fleeces. I wear a lot of these, so having somewhere discrete to store them has been great. In the top bin I keep reusable grocery bags, cups, sunglasses, and other random items.
Above is some more decor inspiration. These pictures are from my roommates’ parts of the room so I won’t get into too much detail. Although we all bring a different vibe into the space, it all works really well together and we get so many compliments on our room. You can find the super cute lightning bolt light on Amazon by clicking here.
My room would not be complete without my sorority paddle. My big and I both looovee Lil Dicky so she designed my paddle based on one of his music videos. I cannot wait to make a paddle for my Little!!
Last, but certainly not least, is our Call Her Daddy flag. My roommates and I love to listen and quote this podcast so it is only right that we hung this flag on our door. #daddygang
