This packing guide is suitable for 7-10 days in any of the tropical regions of Mexico. It is also perfect for the warmer months throughout the entire country. If you’re traveling during the winter, or to a colder region, you will want to pack more sweaters, layers and pants. 

Mexico Outfit Ideas

When packing for a warm destination I love to bring dresses. They are so easy to pack and you have cute and easy outfits ready to go. Bonus points if these dresses don’t wrinkle. 

For a 7-10 day trip I usually take 4 casual dresses and 3 night time dresses. 

Matching sets are also a great option. I love that they look so cute and put together without requiring a lot of outfit planning. 

Of course, for a beach vacation you’ll also want to pack some shorts/skirts and tanks. I’m personally a skirt girl. I think they’re so comfortable and I love that you can dress them up or down. 

Pairing cute tanks or t-shirts with skirts and shorts is my go to. I also love adding a lightweight beachy button-down on top. It’s such a cute look and also prevents your shoulders from getting burned. 

What to Wear to the Beach

Anyone else always overpack swimsuits? For a week-long trip I know I only need 2, but I always end up bringing at least 4. I also recommend packing a cover up or two, for walking to/from the beach and pool. 

Don’t  forget your sandals/flip flops!
